The pioneer of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, has been discharged from the Kuje Prison in Abuja in the wake of meeting the safeguard conditions allowed him by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, says his legal counselor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Ejiofor said his customer met every single exceptional condition on Friday and was discharged not long after every single important report were marked by the trial judge.
"Nnamdi Kanu left the jail at around 5pm subsequent to meeting the safeguard conditions," Ejiofor revealed to PUNCH reporter on the phone.
Equity Nyako had on Tuesday conceded safeguard to Kanu, who alongside three others are being arraigned on charges verging on treasonable charges.
She said Kanu was conceded abandon wellbeing grounds.
The judge however banished the IPOB pioneer from allowing press meet while on safeguard.
The judge additionally gave a stern cautioning to the respondent not to take an interest in any rally or be found in a horde of more than 10 people throughout the safeguard.
